"Fall" in Love!

We had so much fun designing this orange theme wedding for Melody & Wilson last Friday.  They fell in love with the lighted aisle decor we've done for a previous wedding, so we incorporated that into the design, but with orange dendrobium orchids to match their theme color. Instead of lighting the aisle with lights, we put candles down the aisle, much more romantic and perfect for the chilly November weather. We designed the altar floral arrangements with the head table in mind. We wanted to be able to use them for the head table as well. Here's what we came up with... hope you like it!

Wedding at Le Loft Hotel Montreal

We had the absolute pleasure working with Lindsay and Brett designing their wedding and bringing their visions to reality. This sweet couple is from London, England and I will let the photos tell you about their wedding. Although... there is one thing I forgot to snap a photo of... it was the beautiful quilt on the chuppah we setup for Lindsay and Brett! The bride and groom were married under a quilt which was put together by their families and relatives to congratulate them on their marriage and gave them blessings. It was absolutely heart warming!

Different Shades for Your Bridesmaids' Bouquets

Do you have a large bridal party? Why not have different shades for your bridesmaids' bouquets to make things a little different? Just imagine how great your photos would look!

Here are some hydrangea bouquets we've created for one of our brides this past Sunday. Of course, the bride's bouquet was different than the purple bouquets. She had natural cream color hydrangeas and roses with a little bit of bling in the roses. Although simple, it surely stood out from the rest of the bridesmaids' purple tone.

A Christmas Party!

We had lots of fun setting up for this corporate party.  At the end of the wedding season this year, we started offering fresh floral arrangements and this was the last of this year, many more to come in 2013!  The silver swirl overlays were newly added to our inventory of organza overlays.  It gives the table a punch, just stands out a little more than the plain silver overlays.  The candy buffet, O.M.G!  It was a mixed of colours, so fun and yummy, which I was part of the party!  Enjoy the photos of our setup =)

Decor & Floral Course in Toronto

I finally had time to look through the many photos I took in Toronto. Here's the first batch of the photos from the Decor and Floral Class I took last month. I had so much fun and learned so much. I highly recommend this course to anyone who has the slightest interests in decorations or floral design. This is a great introduction class.

Don't you just love all the vibrant colors??!

Stay tuned for Part Deux of my Toronto trip: Canada Blooms.
